the shnekel project
The Shnekel is an Israeli coin that represents a group of two shekels (Israel local currency is NIS - New Israeli Shekels).
We, as people of financial grace and less than less of spare time, foresaw the necessity of a chart, a daily update, that will collect and publish the daily rates, ratings and up-to-date news concerning the Shnekel coin, which, besides being far more valuable than the Shekel (twice as expensive!), is undoubtedly the funniest titled coin in Israel. We assume it's the funniest name for money ever, in the whole world. And even the Galaxy.
The Shnekel exchange rates are based on the official Bank of Israel RSS feeds. However, we will not take any responsibility whatsoever regarding your money. It's your money. You can do whatever you want with it. We'd appreciate if you give us some; but this is not mandatory. It's a nice gesture, though.
The Shnekel Daily Exchange Rates website was launched on July 31st, 2008 by Ido Kenan & Tomer Lichtash.
